Alyssa WiedmanAlyssa Wiedman was born and raised in Queens, New York. She began her dancing career at four years old at Dance Creations under the direction of Laurie Oddi. Through her years at Dance Creations, Alyssa studied tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, modern and hip-hop. At the age of fourteen Alyssa began studying Latin ballroom dancing under the direction of Michael Pagan and Maria Torres. She traveled with Maria Torres’ Emerging Artist Company to Manchester England in 2008. Alyssa is currently earning her BFA in dance performance at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. At Adelphi, she has performed works by Christopher Flemming, Orion Duckstein, Jacques Cesbron, Martha Graham and Amy Marshall. Alyssa has competed and won first place in five out of six categories in Latin Ballroom in the Empire State Ballroom competition and MIT ballroom competition under the direction of Louka Apostolov. Alyssa joined the Amy Marshall Dance Company in 2013. |

Caitlin SheppardCaitlin Sheppard, a northern Chicago native, studied Dance and Management at Hofstra University where she performed in works by Sean Curran, Amy Marshall, Doug Varone, Karla Wolfangle, and many other choreographers from the New York area. Sheppard’s choreography has been presented at American College Dance Festival gala performances (2012, 2013), and at the Florence Dance Festival (2012). Sheppard has performed with The Moveshop, Histerika Dance Company, Giada Ferrone’s Contemporary Nutcracker, KaKe Dance, and Keigwin+Co. Sheppard is a currently a company member with “of bones|hollye bynum”. Her musical theater credits include National Tour; “Chuggington LIVE: The Great Rescue Adventure” (Koko and ensemble member). Equity Regional Theatre 2016; The Fireside Theatre, “Peter Pan”. Caitlin joins the Amy Marshall Dance Company for the 35th Downtown Dance Festival in August 2016. |

Julia NetoJulia Neto recently graduated summa cum laude from Hofstra University, where she received a B.A. in Dance, with a minor in General Business. She has trained extensively in modern, ballet, jazz, contemporary, and acrobatics. At Hofstra, Neto had the privilege to perform the works of Robin Becker, Karla Wolfangle, Amy Marshall, and Colin Stillwell, among others. While at Hofstra, she choreographed and produced an evening length performance of her own works. Neto’s recent performance credits include a workshop of Squaregame with the Merce Cunningham Trust, and the work of Bryan Strimpel through the Amalgamate Dance Guest Artist Series at City Center Studios. She was also chosen for the opportunity to perform a large scale site specific work choreographed by Mark Dendy, for the prestigious Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival. Neto has had the pleasure of performing the work of both Anna Troester and Alexis Robbins in venues across New York City. When not dancing, Neto is an instructor and private trainer for dance-based fitness method Body Conceptions by Mahri. Julia joins the Amy Marshall Dance Company for the 35th Downtown Dance Festival in August 2016. |

Kevin WilliamsKevin Williams grew up in the Bronx NY. He recently graduated from Hofstra University, receiving his B.S. in Dance Education. He has trained vigorously in many styles including Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Hip Hop, under the direction of Sharon Simmons, Penelope Kalloo, Rachel List, and Stormy Brandenberger, and many others. Williams received his initial training at Just the Place Inc. in Bronx NY, where he is now a Dance Instructor, teaching Modern, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop to students ages 6-25. While in High School, he joined the Gestures Dance Company under the direction of Nina Klyvert, a former member of Ailey II. He worked with many renowned choreographers such as Darrell Moultrie and Amy Hall, (both graduates of Julliard) and Damazi Williams. At Hofstra, Williams had the opportunity to perform works of Sean Curran, Amy Marshall, Frederick Earl Mosley, and Stormy Brandenberger, among others. Williams has performed in many well-known New York City venues such as the Museum of Natural History and the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater. Upon graduating from Lehman High School he remained a choreographer for the Lehman High School dance company. His piece, “Lean on me”, was chosen to be performed during The United Federation of Teachers Dance Festival. Williams is the director of the liturgical dancers in his church. His vision is to keep the dance art form as an important way to communicate with God and to minister to the people of churches around the world. Kevin joins AMDC for the Downtown Dance Festival in August 2016. |

Parker Herren Parker Herren (Wichita Falls, TX) received his early dance training at Dance Etc. of Wichita Falls, Texas Ballet Theater School in Fort Worth, TX, and has most recently earned a BFA in Modern Dance from Texas Christian University. He has worked as an apprentice with Bruce Wood Dance Project and has attended summer intensives with modern dance companies Paul Taylor Dance Company and Mark Morris Dance Group as well as the Joffrey Ballet School. While studying at TCU, Parker performed works by resident DanceTCU faculty as well as guest artists Ming-Lung Yang, Helanius Wilkins, Joy Atkins Bollinger, and John Gardner and Amanda McKerrow of the Antony Tudor Trust. Parker is also a certified Peak Pilates instructor. He Joined AMDC in August 2017. |

Reid Conlon Reid began dancing at the age of six in his hometown of Canton, Michigan. He is classically trained in ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, tap, and musical theater. In May of 2017, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University with a BFA in Dance Performance. During his time at SMU, he performed works by Danny Buraczeski, Paul Taylor, George Balanchine, José Límon, Shapiro and Smith Dance, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, and Bob Fosse. In 2015, Mr. Conlon had the pleasure of performing at the José Limón International Dance Festival alongside his SMU colleagues. While at SMU, Reid received accolades such as Outstanding Senior Man for the Meadows School of the Arts as well as an award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance. Post-graduation, he has been a member of Elisa Monte Dance in New York City and is currently working as a freelance dance. He is very excited to be apart of Amy Marshall Dance! |

Torrey McAnena Torrey McAnena is originally from Abington, Pennsylvania and received the majority of her early dance training at Metropolitan Ballet Academy under the direction of Lisa Collins Vidnovic. She received additional training at summer intensives including Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, A.B.T. Alabama and American Repertory Ballet. Torrey was a seasonal guest dancer with Pennsylvania Ballet from 2015-2018 and then continued her dance training at Marymount Manhattan College, graduating with a B.F.A in dance with a ballet concentration. She has worked with choreographers and performed works by Kanji Segawa, Kate Skarpetowska, Lar Lubovitch, Pam Tanowitz, Paul Taylor, Deganit Shemy, Abdur Rahim Jackson, Jane Vorberger, and Anthony Ferro. Following college Torrey developed a strong interest in the Cunningham technique and was selected to participate in multiple Cunningham Fellowship Trust workshops. Torrey joined H.T. Chen and Dancers in 2015 and had the opportunity to tour regionally and perform at Martha’s Vineyard “The Yard”, as well as perform in many local New York City venues. Torrey is currently in her sixth season with Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre as company member and recently took on a new role of Rehearsal Director. Exploring non traditional performance venues and experiences, Torrey has had the opportunity to perform with Lisa Fagan Dance Problems, Suzzanne Ponomarenko Dance, and Fooju Dance Collective. In addition to performing Torrey enjoys teaching fitness at Physique 57 both in studio and on the On Demand Platform. She could not be more excited to join the Amy Marshall Dance Company! |
